Meet the co-editor of and a contributor to 'Pūrākau: Māori Myths Retold by Māori Writers'. This new collection showcases some of our best Māori wordsmiths breathing new life and creative energy into well-known Māori myths. Writer, scholar, barrister and solicitor, playwright and all-round star Whiti Hereaka talks about this collection and gives a reading and might also be tempted to chat a bit about her other award-winning work, life, the universe and other interesting things. Whiti will be in conversation with former Wairarapa MP and Carterton Mayor, Georgina Beyer.

Venue is Wesley Wing, Aratoi Wairarapa Museum of Art and History. Books by featured authors will be on sale in the foyer of Aratoi.
